Two strange games out so far. Gobby's Portal is the studio's first title and won Best Gameplay at Tripo Portal Pass 2026; it's still in active development on itch.io. Deckrunner is the latest, a browser-first roguelike FPS for Vibe Jam 2026.

Three procedurally-stitched decks. Twenty-six perks. Six weapons. Bosses, traps, and treasure caches you might not survive opening. Built solo for Vibe Jam 2026 in the browser. No install, no download, just one click.

Deckrunner gameplay: first-person view inside a derelict space station, a pink sci-fi sidearm raised toward a labeled door, with the Vibe Jam 2026 badge in the corner.

about the studio

Paledust is a solo studio. One person, one keyboard, building games out of dust and distance.

The aesthetic is pale and particulate: faded photographs of nebulae, sword-light through stained glass, the soft clutter of an old radio band. Genre is whatever fits the mood. Sci-fi corridors one game, fantasy portals the next, a little of everything as long as it holds its breath right. They're really about quiet. The kind of game you play at 2am with the lights off.

The studio's first title, Gobby's Portal, picked up Best Gameplay at Tripo Portal Pass 2026 and is still in active development. The latest is Deckrunner, shipped solo for Vibe Jam 2026 and live in your browser. After that, more strange weather, more strange worlds.
